Facebook sends you notifications via text or email every now and then. Some of the notifications you may have received include being tagged in a photo, mentioned in a post, or having comments made on your wall or photos. When you log in to your Facebook account, you will be able to see these notifications. These notifications can be a nuisance at times, especially if you believe the alert is unimportant. When you manage your Facebook Notifications settings, you will have the option to remove them.
