Our scripture for the Day by day Devotional right now is taken from Isaiah 41:8-13. Blessed are those that mourn, for they are going to be comforted. Irrespective of the place you end up, God will embrace you in His gracious and loving arms.
“However you, Israel, my servant,
Jacob, whom I’ve chosen,
you descendants of Abraham my pal,
9 I took you from the ends of the earth,
from its farthest corners I referred to as you.
I mentioned, ‘You might be my servant’;
I’ve chosen you and haven’t rejected you.
10 So don’t concern, for I’m with you;
don’t be dismayed, for I’m your God.
I’ll strengthen you and assist you;
I’ll uphold you with my righteous proper hand.
11 “All who rage towards you
will certainly be ashamed and disgraced;
those that oppose you
will likely be as nothing and perish.
12 Although you seek for your enemies,
you’ll not discover them.
Those that wage struggle towards you
will likely be as nothing in any respect.
13 For I’m the Lord your God
who takes maintain of your proper hand
and says to you, Don’t concern;
I’ll enable you to.”
God upholds us via Jesus and His sacrifice
